Welcome to Paws, Purrs & Pickups, Pet Care Services! We're thrilled to provide professional and caring services for your beloved pets. Please read these Terms and Conditions ("Terms") carefully, as they govern your use of our services. By booking or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Definitions

  • "Client," "You," "Your": Refers to the pet owner(s) or individual(s) booking and receiving services from Paws, Purrs & Pickups, Pet Care Services.
  • "Pet Sitter," "We," "Us," "Our": Refers to Paws, Purrs & Pickups, Pet Crae Services and its authorized representatives, employees, or contractors.
  • "Services": Refers to all pet sitting, dog walking, pet care, and related services provided by Paws, Purrs & Pickups Pet Care Services.
  • "Agreement": Refers to these Terms and Conditions, along with any service agreements, booking confirmations, or waivers signed by the Client.

2. Service Agreement

2.1. Booking Confirmation: All services are subject to availability and confirmation by us. A booking is confirmed once we send you a written confirmation (e.g., email, text message).

2.2. Client Information: You agree to provide us with complete, accurate, and up-to-date information regarding your pets' health, behaviour, feeding schedules, medication, veterinarian details, and any special needs or instructions. You must also provide accurate emergency contact information.

2.3. Property Access: You agree to provide us with necessary access to your home or property for the duration of the services. This may include providing keys, alarm codes, or specific entry instructions. Keys will be securely stored and returned promptly after services conclude.

3. Pet Health and Safety

3.1. Vaccinations & Health: All pets must be up-to-date on all necessary vaccinations and preventative treatments (e.g., flea, tick, worming). You must inform us of any pre-existing medical conditions, allergies, or recent illnesses your pet has experienced. We reserve the right to refuse service for pets we deem a health risk to themselves or others.

3.2. Aggressive Animals: We do not accept pets with a history of unprovoked aggression towards humans or other animals. If your pet exhibits aggressive behaviour during service, we reserve the right to terminate services immediately. 

In such cases, you will be responsible for arranging alternative care and will be charged for services rendered.

3.3. Emergencies & Veterinary Care:

* In the event of a pet emergency, illness, or injury, we will attempt to contact you immediately. If you cannot be reached, we are authorized to seek veterinary attention for your pet at your designated veterinary clinic or, if unavailable, the nearest veterinary emergency clinic.

* You agree to be solely responsible for all veterinary expenses incurred during the service period.

* We will make reasonable efforts to transport your pet to the vet if necessary.

3.4. Secure Environment: You are responsible for ensuring your home and property provide a safe and secure environment for your pets and for our pet sitters. This includes securing gates, fences, and ensuring no hazardous materials are accessible to your pets.

4. Fees and Payment

4.1. Service Fees: Our fees for services are as quoted to you at the time of booking.

4.2. Payment Terms: Payment for services is due [e.g., in full prior to the first service, upon completion of services, within 1 day of invoicing]. We accept payment via [e.g., bank transfer, credit/debit card, cash].

4.3. Late Payments: Are not accepted

4.4. Additional Charges: Additional charges may apply for:

* Emergency veterinary visits.

* Supplies (e.g., pet food, medication) that we need to purchase on your behalf if not provided.

* Extended stays or services not originally booked.

* Last-minute bookings outside of standard hours or notice periods.

5. Cancellations and Refunds

5.1. Cancellation by Client:

* [e.g., "Cancellations made with more than 72 hours' notice before the scheduled service will receive a full refund or credit."]

* [e.g., "Cancellations made with less than 72 hours' notice will incur a cancellation fee equivalent to [e.g., 50% of the booking total, the first day's service fee]."]

5.2. Cancellation by Us: In the rare event that we must cancel services due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., illness, emergency), we will endeavour to provide as much notice as possible and assist you in finding an alternative reputable pet care provider. A full refund will be issued for any pre-paid services not rendered.

6. Client Responsibilities

6.1. Supplies: You are responsible for providing all necessary pet supplies, including food, medications, leashes, collars, crates, and litter. If supplies run out, we will purchase them, and you will be charged for the cost.

6.2. Communication: You agree to maintain open communication channels with us during the service period (e.g., by checking your phone for messages).

6.3. Home Security: You are responsible for the general security of your home during our service period. We will ensure doors are locked and alarms are set (if applicable) when we leave.

7. Limitation of Liability

7.1. Our Commitment: We commit to providing services with reasonable care and skill.

7.2. Client Acknowledgment: You acknowledge that while we take every precaution, pets can be unpredictable. We are not liable for:

* Illness or injury to your pet that is not a direct result of our negligence.

* Pet escape or disappearance if adequate security measures (e.g., secure fencing, proper collar/tags) were not in place or if the pet is an escape artist despite reasonable precautions.

* Damage to your property caused by your pet or by events outside of our control (e.g., natural disasters, third-party intrusion).

* Loss, injury, or death of a pet due to pre-existing conditions, natural causes, or acts of God.

7.3. Maximum Liability: Our liability for any damage, loss, or injury arising from our negligence will be limited to the cost of the services provided or [e.g., your insurance deductible, a specific monetary amount, e.g., £500], whichever is lower. We recommend you maintain adequate pet insurance and homeowner's insurance.

7.4. Third-Party Access: We are not responsible for any loss or damage to your property or pet if you allow third parties (e.g., cleaners, contractors, friends) access to your home during our service period.

8. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Paws, Purrs & Pickups Pet Care Services, its employees, and contractors from any and all claims, liabilities, damages, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from:

  • Your breach of these Terms.
  • Any injury, illness, or property damage caused by your pet.
  • Any misrepresentation or omission of information by you.

9. Privacy Policy

10. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

10.1. Governing Law: These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of (e.g., England and Wales).

10.2. Dispute Resolution: Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall first be attempted to be resolved amicably through good faith negotiation. 11. General Provisions

11.3. Severability: If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.

11.4. Force Majeure: We will not be liable for any failure or delay in performing our obligations due to events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, natural disasters, war, terrorism, or widespread illness.

  • Dog Walking - If you're short on time or just need a hand, we'll take your pooch for their daily exercise. -From £10 - per hour - location dependent.
  • Vets Appointments - We can take your pet to the vets for general health checks if you can't get an 
  • appointment to suit your schedule. - Price on application - Location dependent.
  • Medication collection - If you cant get to the vets to collect their medication, we'll collect it on your behalf and deliver it to your door. - Price on application - Location dependent.
  • Doggy day care drop off and pickups - If you're juggling morning appointments, school runs and work, with dog creche drop offs we can drop off and pickup your dog from day care on your behalf. - Price on application - Location dependent.
